Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying)
As a member of the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario, I utilize an integrative model and approach to psychotherapy which includes elements from acceptance and commitment therapy, cognitive behavioural therapy, psychodynamic, and attachment-based theory.
I received my Bachelor of Arts with Honours in Psychology from Carleton University, where I focused on Forensics. I then completed a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University. Throughout my studies, I had multiple work and volunteer experiences that enabled me to grow as a clinician. I have also trained in crisis and suicide intervention and continue to seek learning opportunities in order to further my knowledge and better serve my clients.
I work with a wide variety of populations (adolescents, adults and couples) in order to address various mental health concerns such as depression, anxiety, trauma and posttraumatic stress, and interpersonal difficulties, to name a few.
I strive to create an empathic, non-judgmental and collaborative relationship with every client, and I hope to have the pleasure of accompanying you on your path towards healing and thriving.
