Clinical supervision is a professional service of equal importance as that of a Psychological Assessment or Psychotherapy. Supervision enables students or clinicians to engage in professional development by furthering their knowledge, skills, clinical judgement, and ability to self-reflect, with the goal of improving the quality of services they provide.
Madeleine offers clinical supervision services to students and health professionals (i.e. Psychologists, Psychotherapists, Consellors, etc.) seeking to further their practice.
Madeleine offers clinical supersivision services by a trained Psychologist (registered with the College of Psychologists of Ontario and Québec), with the aim of accompanying students or clinicians in their professional development. This process often occurs through the reflection of themes surrounding the following :
- Assessment/Psychological treatment
- Ethic and professional conduct
- Psychometric assessment
- Therapeutic alliance
- Personal development
- File management
- Report writing
Clinical supervision provides students and/or clinicians with regular support necessary to their professional development. The benefits associated with this process are many (i.e. skill development, expertise, reflexion, etc.) and complementary to the initial training and continued education of the supervisee.
